When will members be able to purchase flower?
Can I grow my plants at the CSC?
Can I be a grower at AVIVA CSC?

Why English and German?
(Short answer: Our Lead Grower is an English speaker)
AVIVA CSC is a German and English bilingual CSC.
When will members be able to purchase flower?
(Short answer: 4-5 months after getting our license, maybe 1-2 months to apply for our license)
AVIVA will begin cultivation as soon as we are ready, because finding the right place rather than the first place takes time. If you were going to drive 1,000 km across the desert, would you pick the first car you found, or the right car that can make it. As we are focused on consistent production, establishing the correct system the first time is key. Those who race to produce flower quickly will likely be making key mistakes that will stop their cultivation and production in the near future.
Can I grow my plants at the CSC?
(Short answer: Probably not.)
Growing cannabis is easy, growing amazing cannabis is hard, and consistently growing amazing cannabis is extremely hard. AVIVA will produce cannabis for 500 members, and if bugs and diseases are introduced the flow of production for the rest of the members may be compromised. To ensure maintaining high quality product and the flow of production, personal growing operations will not be allowed at AVIVA unless authorized by the Lead Grower.
Can I be a grower at AVIVA CSC?
(Short answer: Maybe)
AVIVA grows premium cannabis because of how we grow cannabis (brief overview in Cultivation). A limited number of growers will be needed at AVIVA, and members must first request to be trained in our growing style. After selection and training, those trained members will be allowed to assist in growing.
Why does AVIVA grow in soil?
(Short answer: With good soil it is easier to make top quality flower)
We understand that a lot of new growers and legacy growers use and/or are used to bottled nutrients. There are many reasons why we avoid these products, but the top 3 reasons are:
1) most importantly, salt based fertilizers naturally introduce excess salts which kill the good soil biology that we want to protect
2) only the plant knows what it wants and since plants can not regulate how much (salt based) fertilizers they absorb, this results in plants losing the ability to self-regulate, which can easily results in nutrient imbalances
3) most cannabis fertilizers have too much Nitrogen, and rely on branding/marketing instead of quality and transparency. Nitrogen is like sugar for plants, trace minerals like Boron are like vitamin C; a diet high in sugar and no vitamin C results in scurvy. A good soil mix provides the trace minerals plants need.
